Sagrada Família is considered Antoni Gaudí's masterpiece, despite that the construction of the church started in 1882 and is still unfinished. While visiting the church you discover how Gaudí got most of his inspiration from nature, which he considered God's masterpiece.
You get the chance to explore the beautiful church from the inside and admire the astonishing interior, where the ceiling reaches several meters up in the sky. Gaudí designed the interior as a Latin cross plan with five aisles, richly and symbolically decorated. Take your time to admire the stained glass windows, which allow the sunlight to shine inside the church, creating a magical and vivid colour-scheme.
You also visit the Sagrada Família museum, where you will see drawings, plaster models, and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginning to the present day. At the museum you also learn much more about Gaudí's life and career!
